Hedy Gerrett
GERRETT, Hedwig (Hedy). Peacefully, at her residence, on Thursday, February 22, 2007, in her 78th year. Beloved wife of the late George Gerrett. Loving mother of Chris (Linda) of Delhi and Paul (Diane) of Port Dover. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Jessica, Emily, Brett and Megan; her brother Siegfried Wiebe of St. Catharines and sister Anna (Nic) Neu of Brantford and her loving companion Gene Frear of Florida. Predeceased by her brother Harry. Hedy was a former member of the Port Dover Summer Festival. Friends were received by the family on Sunday, February 25, 2007, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., at the Thompson Waters Funeral Home, 102 First Ave., Port Dover, 519-583-1530. Funeral service was held in the Chapel on Monday, February 26, 2007 at 2 p.m. followed by Interment at Port Dover Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy to Camp Trillium would be appreciated by the family.
