Sandra Cooper

COOPER, Sandra Gail (nee Bullock) - Passed away at Norfolk General Hospital on April 19, 2007. Mrs. Sandra Cooper of R. R. #2, Simcoe (Walsh) in her 67th year. Much loved by her husband, great friend and soul mate of Gary Cooper. Loving and devoted mother of John Cooper and his wife Diane of Simcoe, Brenda Cooper and her friend Jim Tiller of Simcoe and Tom Cooper of Simcoe. Cherished Nana to her eight grandchildren: Garrett and Corrin Bolle, Megan, Dalton & Mason Cooper and Kaitlin, Brenden & Aaron Cooper. Sister-in-law to Jackie (Pete) Stasiuk, Sandy (Ross) Brown, Walter Cooper, Dave (Mary) Cooper, Jane (Rheal) Gagne and Iris Loder. Special Aunt to Lynn Huntribise, Diane Tucker, Joan Bullock, Raymond, Wayne and Mark Bullock, Terry, Ted, Tim, John, Jim and Susie Wells, Ryan and Michael Moore, Ken and Chris Cooper, Eric and Steven Gagne and Kevin and Darryl Loder. Predeceased by her father, Raymond Bullock, mother Ruth Ann (nee Thommason), brothers Thomas and Bobby Bullock. Sandra was a valued partner in the family business, Strawberry Tyme, was a member of the Vittoria Foundation, Minor Hockey Mothers and put many countless hours into chauffeuring various school teams and hockey teams for her children and grandchildren. Sandra will be sadly missed by many other relatives and friends. Friends were invited to meet with the family on Sunday, April 22, 2007 at the Ferris Funeral Home, 214 Norfolk Street, South, Simcoe, where the funeral service was held on Monday, April 23, 2007 at 11 a.m. Pastor Mark Bertrand officiating. Interment at Vittoria Baptist Cemetery. If so desired, those wishing may donate in Sandra’s memory to the Vittoria Foundation or the Norfolk Hospital Foundation - Palliative Care.


Barry Grainger


Wm. Barry Grainger will be interred in the family plot on Saturday, May 5, 2007, 2:00 p.m. at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Ethel, ON. Friends are invited to join the family as they put Barry to his final rest.


Laurie Jane Johnson


JOHNSON, Laurie Jane. At St. Peter’s Hospital on Friday, April 20, 2007 in her 32nd year. Laurie Jane Johnston, formerly of Brantford and Port Dover. Beloved mother of Natasha, Anastasia and Donovan. Loving daughter of Jane Christiaens (Dick) and Doug Johnson (Mary). Dear Sister of Teresa Stephens, Christine Thomas, Sara, Naomi and Jennifer Christiaens. Fondly remembered by Grandmother Johnson, aunts, uncles, cousins, five nieces, five nephews and by many friends. Friends will be received at the Marlatt Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 615 Main Street East, Hamilton (east of Sanford Ave.) on Tuesday, April 24, 2007 from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service in the Marlatt Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, April 25, 2007 at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.


Robert Denton Lyttle

LYTTLE, Robert Denton. Peacefully at Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Monday, April 23, 2007. Robert Lyttle, of Port Dover, in his 90th year. Bob was born in 1917 to the late James and Theresa Lyttle at Kempt, Queens Co., N.S. Husband of the late Irene Carrie (Laforme) Lyttle (2002). Loving father of Teresa and George Holden, Robert Little, Jr., Linda and Ron Robinson, Bruce Little, Sharon and Wayne Wilson all of Port Dover, Shirley and Sandy Gibbons of Waterford and Brian and Brenda Little of Simcoe. Loving grandfather of 9 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Predeceased by granddaughter Lisa Cassidy (1987). Brother of Bernard and Roberta. Friends are invited to call at Cooper Funeral Home, 19 Talbot Street West, Jarvis on Wednesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service for Robert will be held at Cooper Funeral Home on Thursday at 1:30 p.m. Interment, St. Paul’s Anglican Church Cemetery. Donations to Children’s Wish Foundation, The Heart & Stroke Foundation or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
