Major road work on Regent, Chapman and First Avenue
A three block section of downtown Port Dover streets is scheduled for major reconstruction. The $987,880.00 contract includes one block on Regent Street from the beach to Chapman Street west, one block of Chapman to First Avenue then the one block length to Nelson Street.
The successful bidder is Tri-Con Excavating Inc. of London. That company has been awarded other contracts for projects in Norfolk County including Port Dover’s Inglewood Drive, Phase 2.
The contract includes roadwork, watermains and sewer installations. The replacement of the watermain on Regent Street is necessary to allow for the installation of the storm sewer outlet.
